Will using a new top model of iMac be fine for using Flash to create web sites?

I was going to buy a MacPro but due to budget, I'm seriously considering saving over $1500 and getting the top model iMac. I know it will definitely work better than what I currently have (Mac G4), and I've used some older iMac models for video %26amp; audio before, but I am ready to begin learning Flash for web design.

I figure maybe in 5 years, with a better salary, I can upgrade to a MacPro!Will using a new top model of iMac be fine for using Flash to create web sites?
Flash is very simple vector based animations and such. I've done them long ago on very simple 500Mhz computers. You definitely do not need top of the line gear here.

Some other things you should consider before going down this path...

I use a white 24'; iMac at work, and it easily handles quite a load of apps. Flash will run great on the the new metal iMacs. If it's in your budget, max out the RAM right away.
