I just recently purchased this camera but don't know how to turn off the flash. I skimmed thru the manual but didn't find anything?How do turn off the flash on a Fuji S5200?
on the back of the camera is a little 4 way arrow dial

i have a similar camera and i there are 2 silver buttons on the back of the camera towards the top. (the left and right buttons) and when the camera is ready to shoot you keep pressing it and there are different symbols that pop up. one of them is a lightening bolt which is flash and after that there is a lightening bolt with a cross through it. if you leave it on this there will be no flash
