Is there a substitute for Adobe Flash Player?

I need another program that works as well (or better!). I've had problems with Adobe and Macromedia software. Anyone know where I can get a flash player that's better? Is there a substitute for Adobe Flash Player?
The only program that works with Flash is Adobe or Macromedia (same company) Flash Player or plug-in.

If you have problems with it, then it's likely a bad file or not installed properly. Is there a substitute for Adobe Flash Player?
I THINK THE BAD SIDE OF MACROMEDIA FLASH IS THAT MACROMEDIA FLASH LEAVE BEHIND A TWO FILES IN WINDOWS SYSTEM32 DIRECTORY THAT CANNOT BE DELETE BY ANY METHOD THAT PRESENT. SO WHEN YOU WANT TO REINSTALL NEW WINDOWS SYSTEM YOU MUST RENAME THE OLD WINDOWS DIRECTORY TO OTHER NAME BECOUSE IT CAN'T BE DEL Report Abuse
