Is there a substitute for Adobe Flash Player?

I need another program that works as well (or better!). I've had problems with Adobe and Macromedia software. Anyone know where I can get a flash player that's better?Is there a substitute for Adobe Flash Player?

I THINK THE BAD SIDE OF MACROMEDIA FLASH IS THAT MACROMEDIA FLASH LEAVE BEHIND A TWO FILES IN WINDOWS SYSTEM32 DIRECTORY THAT CANNOT BE DELETE BY ANY METHOD THAT PRESENT.
