i know the parameters that we investigated is the volume fractional of kerosene and diesel.... but.. what is that so? what the significance of that paramters? its urgent... i want the suggest answer ASAP....Can You tell me about the significance of parameters investigated about flash point?
The flash point test is a measure of when the concentration of vapours above a liquid become just sufficient to support combustion. Kerosene has a much lower flash point than diesel and the flash point of mixtures will depend on the relative concentrations of each. If the liquids behaved ideally and the test was also ideal one would expect a linear relationship depending on the molar concentrations of the mixture.
